If I could live as a mermaid in the sea with access to FREE unlimited Piña coladas, I would.
… but then I would be a voluntarily unemployed, overweight and rather drunk sea creature…
I just love the sea and the sand. There is something so calming and rejuvenating about being near the ocean, feeling the salty breeze on my face and the sand between my toes.
Every time I am on the coast, I find myself constantly inspired by the beauty and power of nature - and it brings me so much joy and energy to be able to immerse myself in it. Whether I am swimming in the ocean, walking along the beach, or just watching the waves crash against the shore, being near the sea always fills me with a sense of wonder and awe. I guess I also have a weakness for delicious cocktails, slices of salami and hot chips (but let’s not focus on that… unless if you want to join me).
Now that we’re acquainted…
After working as an English and History teacher, a real estate agent in an incredibly fast-paced environment, and a marketing expert for brands that spanned across New Zealand and Australia I learned some valuable insights:
There is so much content out there that is just not engaging! If I see another property listing with the title “Location, location, location” again, my eyes will roll all the way to the back of my head and refuse to come back. If something is not selling, don’t dig it further into its grave by coating it in bad stigma.
Each brand, home, curriculum piece, business, and proposition has a unique story to tell. This is tricky to achieve in today’s day in age if you are a traditionalist as media is ever-changing and so is the way that we consume it. Did you know that the average human attention span is now 8.25 seconds? This is a shorter span than a goldfish that can focus on a task or object for 9 seconds!
The right message can make the biggest impact on your brand. Now that we are in an age where people are easily influenced by engaging messages and trends, this is the perfect opportunity to ride the wave and generate success. OR you can fade into the background and not get noticed amongst your competition.
