You Build is a local building company with solid mahi and great projects – they just needed more people to see it. I came on board to manage their social media with two clear goals:
1. Grow brand awareness
2. Turn that awareness into real leads

I managed You Build’s social media presence with a focus on Facebook and Instagram, making sure the brand stayed active, visible, and consistent.

Instead of polished stock imagery, I used real photos and videos from actual builds – framing up the team on-site, progress shots, before-and-afters, and finished homes. This made the content:
More relatable and human
More trust-building (what you see is what you get)
Better at showing how they work, not just what they do
The result was a feed that felt like a genuine building company you’d actually want to work with – not just another generic trades page.

Once we’d built up some brand presence and engagement, we introduced Meta ads focused on lead generation. These campaigns were designed to:
Reach homeowners and developers in the right areas
Showcase real You Build work as proof
Direct people to enquire about upcoming projects or renovations
And the best part? Leads started coming in directly from socials.
This project was all about taking You Build from “great local builder that only some people know about” to a brand that’s visible, trusted, and actively generating enquiries online – using honest content, smart strategy, and paid campaigns that actually convert.
