Taking Marty’s Meats Smash Burgers Digital

Marty’s Meats Smash Burgers has blown up into a bit of a Nelson icon, and with their move into a brand new restaurant in Nelson city, it was time for their online presence to level up too. That’s where I came in.

  • I created a brand new website for Marty’s Meats that takes everything people already love about the brand and translates it into a digital experience. It was really important to:

    • Keep the brand attitude front and centre – bold, fun, no-nonsense burgers

    • Make the site easy to navigate and engaging

    • Tell the Marty’s story authentically, the way locals already know and love

The result is a site that feels like them – not generic – while still being super user friendly for people wanting to check the menu, opening hours, or plan their next smash burger mission.

  • Alongside the website, I created reel content they could use to hype up the new restaurant, show off the food, and bring their in-store energy online. Think grill action, juicy close-ups, and that raw, fun vibe that Marty’s is known for.

  • This whole project was about taking what Marty’s Meats was already smashing in real life and giving it a strong digital home. The website and content are built to:

    • Back up their reputation as a Nelson favourite

    • Make it easier for new people to discover them

    • Keep their brand voice and story real, not watered down

Marty’s Meats Smash Burgers had the hype – my job was to help put that same energy online, where the burgers look just as good on screen as they do in person.
